Municipal elections 2026

2026 Municipal Observatory

The Ifop Group officially launches its Municipal 2026 campaign and continues its partnership with the TF1 Group – LCI, Fiducial and Sud Radio.

In the run-up to the 2026 municipal elections, the Ifop Group is deploying a dedicated editorial campaign to help readers understand the election process, which is deeply rooted in local realities. Against a backdrop of shifting political balances and evolving public expectations, this initiative aims to provide keys to understanding the dynamics at work in local areas.

Accessible from a special page on the Ifop Group website, this program offers exclusive studies, expert analyses and educational formats to shed light on the issues at stake throughout the election period. Paris, Lyon and Marseille will be the focus of particular attention, but other major cities will also be analyzed to reflect the diversity of municipal issues. The program will be based on a major survey of the French population and an overview of the most important cities.
