Ifop for LCI surveyed the political climate after the 2026 municipal elections
The Rassemblement National appears to be the big winner of the election: 52% believe it has emerged stronger, followed by the Republicans (30%), France Insoumise (26%) and the Socialist Party (23%).
Some parties also appear particularly weakened: first the Ecologists (54%), followed by the MoDem (50%) and the Communist Party (48%).
Furthermore, 46% of French people believe that Edouard Philippe would make a good candidate for the next presidential election. He is just ahead of Jordan Bardella (45%) and Marine Le Pen (42%).
