A few days before the first round of municipal elections, Ifop-Fiducial for Centre Presse – Aveyron and Sud Radio conducted a survey on the political climate in Rodez.nnIn the first round, the municipal majority list led by Christian Teyssèdre would come out on top with 31% of voting intentions. It would be closely followed by the “divers center” list led by Stéphane Mazars, with 30%. Sarah Vidal’s “divers gauche” list would reach 20%, just ahead of Florian Monteillet’s list with 19%.nnIf the lists led by Stéphane Mazars and Sarah Vidal were to merge for the second round, the union of these two lists would come out clearly ahead with 48% of voting intentions. It would be well ahead of the list led by Christian Teyssèdre, credited with 32%, while the list led by Florian Monteillet would lag behind with 20% of the vote.nnIn the scenario where Florian Monteillet receives the support of Sarah Vidal, the competition becomes tighter. Stéphane Mazars would retain the lead with 39%, but the lists led by Teyssèdre and Monteillet would be closer, at 33% and 28% respectively.nnFinally, if Sarah Vidal were supported by Florian Monteillet, the triangular situation would become very tight. The Mazars-led list would remain slightly ahead with 36%, followed by the Vidal-led list at 35%, leaving the Teyssèdre-led list in 3rd place at 29%.
