Case study: Public Affairs
Objective
This study focusing on the issue of bullying in schools aimed to understand families’ experiences. The goal was to gather honest and precise accounts on a sensitive topic that is often difficult to put into words.
Approach
Innovative methodology: 80 semi-structured interviews conducted via conversational AI (Episto AI Chat), thus encouraging intimate conversation and bringing out the emotion in parents’ accounts.
Impact
The study highlighted the diversity of family experiences and the high expectations placed on schools. It confirmed the key role of artificial intelligence as a catalyst for more in-depth and expressive qualitative research.
Using Episto’s AI Chat solution enabled us to take a qualitative leap forward by combining in-depth interviews with rapid execution. On a topic as sensitive as school bullying, people felt more comfortable expressing themselves, and analysis was thus enriched.
