For SPORSORA, Occurrence (Ifop Group) surveyed spectators about their sporting experience in stadiums and arenas.
The first finding: satisfaction is high, with 91% of spectators satisfied. But this satisfaction is accompanied byincreasinglyhigh expectations.

With an average shopping basket of €203 per buyer, the fan is becoming a demanding consumer. Comfort, catering, entertainment, digital devices: every detail now counts in building the experience. While the atmosphere remains a real highlight, post-match and certain services still struggle to convince.

The study highlights four spectator profiles, from the casual onlooker to the arena addict. They all share the same expectation: to experience a unique moment, to share and recount.
