With one year to go to the municipal elections, Ifop-Fiducial for Le Figaro and Sud radio asked Parisians about the political climate in their city.

Rachida Dati is in pole position: she is measured at between 35% and 37% of voting intentions in the first round of the municipal elections, assuming she were to head a list uniting the central bloc – Renaissance, LR, MoDem and Horizons. The current Minister of Culture would be better placed than Gabriel Attal (34% of voting intentions) and Pierre-Yves Bournazel (31%).

On the left, Sophia Chikirou’s La France insoumise list would garner 11% of votes cast, and would be positioned behind the Socialist Party and Communist Party list (between 19 and 20% of voting intentions) and the Ecologistes list (between 15 and 16% of voting intentions).

In the event of a LR list supported by Francis Szpiner, this would garner between 11% and 16% of votes cast.
