IFOP, on behalf of the Observatoire Histoire et Vie publique and *Paris Match*, surveyed the French public about Marc Bloch’s induction into the Panthéon, which will take place tomorrow, June 23, 2026.
A majority of French people consider Marc Bloch’s induction into the Panthéon to be justified. In fact, 53% believe that Marc Bloch’s induction into the Panthéon is justified, compared to 22% who consider it unjustified and 25% who are undecided. This support is particularly strong among left-wing voters: supporters of La France insoumise (70%), the Socialist Party (69%), and the Greens (also 69%) are the most likely to consider this induction justified.
