For the fifth time in a row, the February 2026 wave of the Ifop-Fiducial personalities scoreboard for Paris Match and Sud Radio is marked by a climate of mistrust: no personality exceeds 50% good opinion.nnHowever, Michel-Édouard Leclerc, tested for the first time, came out on top in this wave of the barometer. With 49% favorable opinions, he becomes the first business leader to take first place, and the third personality since February 2025 to go straight to the top of the ranking. Insofar as this barometer measures opinion ratings, and not voting intentions, it highlights a relatively transversal opinion rating across political families: 61% good opinion among PS supporters, 64% among Renaissance, 67% among LR and 56% among RN.nnBehind this entry, the trio that follows remains very solidly established: Dominique de Villepin (48%, +2) and Édouard Philippe progress (47%, +3) and Jean-Louis Borloo remains at the top of the ranking despite a slight drop (46%, -1). In the central bloc, the “presidential-minded” profiles remain structurally solid. In addition to Edouard Philippe, Gabriel Attal gains ground at 44% (+3 pts) and moves into the top 5.nnOn the left, François Hollande asserts himself as the leading figure in the camp, with 42% of good opinions (+2 pts), ahead of Bernard Cazeneuve (41%, +1 pt) and Ségolène Royal (41%, +2 pts). Conversely, personalities who have recently declared their candidacy for the French presidency are down sharply: François Ruffin is down to 36% (-5 pts), and Marine Tondelier is down to 25% (-4 pts), at the bottom of the table.nnOn the executive side, Emmanuel Macron is up to 27% (+3 pts), while Laurent Nuñez is also up, to 31% (+4). Meanwhile, Sébastien Lecornu falls back to 43% (-3), but remains in the top 10.nnFinally, this wave is marked by a simultaneous decline in the three main figures of the radical right: Jordan Bardella, who leaves the Top10 (40%, -5 pts), Marine Le Pen (38%, -2 pts) and Marion Maréchal (37%, -4 pts). However, this general decline does not translate into a collapse of their base: their levels of good opinion remain very high among Rassemblement National supporters (Jordan Bardella 90%, Marine Le Pen 89%, Marion Maréchal 81%).
