In 2010, when the country was facing a serious economic crisis, Ifop carried out a major sociological survey on the situation and feelings of the French and the middle classes. This survey was carried out again in 2013, in the wake of this crisis.
Thirteen years after this first survey, and at a time when the French are experiencing the return of inflation at a level not seen since the early 1980s, and when the social difficulties that were expressed just five years ago on the traffic circles are still very much alive, the Fondation Jean Jaurès and Bona Fide have joined forces to commission Ifop to carry out a new wave of this survey.
