The trivialization of hostile comments, unease about coming-outs, concern about the
regression of rights and the explosion of inequalities experienced… The latest edition of the
Ifop study for L’Autre Cercle reveals a paradox: while the visibility of LGBTQIA+ talent
in their professional environment has never been so high in the last 5 years, we
observe a significant deterioration in the climate at work, marked in particular by a
12-point rise in discrimination in two years. This situation calls for greater awareness on the part of
employers, who are responsible for the health and safety of their teams, and
calls for greater commitment on the part of organizations at all levels of the
management chain.
With the 5th edition of the biennial Barometer of the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in the
world of work, Ifop and l’Autre Cercle unveil a particularly worrying snapshot
of the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in the world of work. Conducted in
February 2026 among a representative national sample of 10,185 employees and a large
sample from organizations that have signed the L’Autre Cercle Charter (46,833 employees),
the study highlights a clear deterioration in the climate of inclusion at national level in
the space of two years.
