In an uncertain economic climate and a job market undergoing profound change, career paths are being reinvented, requiring constant adaptability on the part of both employees and companies. Faced with these transformations, the IGENSIA Education Group unveils the results of its annual barometer on the relationship between the French and learning, training and employment
learning, training and employment. The study highlights a persistent paradox: while both the French and companies say they are convinced of the need for lifelong learning, they are still struggling to turn this conviction into a lasting practice
into sustainable practice. Lack of support for young people, difficulty
access to sustainable training schemes, training policies deemed insufficient by 4 out of
out of 10 employers, a feeling of skills mismatch… The barometer reveals a still fragile
still fragile dialogue between the expectations of the French and the real needs of companies,
but also a shared aspiration to better prepare future generations for the major
major transformations in the world of work.
