About François Kraus: With 20 yearsof experience in public opinion research, François Kraus is a recognized expert in political research who has been working in Ifop’s Opinion Department since 2008. A specialist in electoral behavior and the French public’s relationship with its government (e.g., institutions, local governments, etc.), he has been a lecturer in the “Political and Parliamentary Work” master’s program at the University of Nanterre (Paris X) since 2014. An expert in communicating the results of published studies designed to maximize the visibility of a company or media outlet, he has also developed recognized expertise in research on public health issues, social issues (e.g., secularism, religion, education, discrimination, etc.), and particularly in the study of sexual and religious minorities. Since 2009, he has also established himself as a leading authority on issues of gender, sexual health, and sexualities (e.g., sexism, LGBT issues, etc.).
