A few days before the second round of municipal elections, Ifop-Fiducial for Sud Radio and La Dépêche du Midi surveyed 706 voters representing the registered population of Toulouse.

The second round looks set to be a close one: the list led by Jean-Luc Moudenc (Divers droite) is expected to win 51% of the vote, against 49% for the list led by François Piquemal (La France insoumise). Among François Briançon voters in the first round who would choose one of the two candidates in the second round, 80% say they intend to vote for François Piquemal in the second round, compared with 20% for Jean-Luc Moudenc.

What’s more, 88% of voters said they were sure of their decision, versus 12% who said they could still change their mind. This solidity is very similar in both electorates, with 87% certainty among François Piquemal voters and 88% among Jean-Luc Moudenc voters.
