With less than a week to go before the first round of municipal elections, Ifop-Fiducial for La Gazette de Montpellier / Nîmes and Sud Radio conducted a survey on the electoral climate in Nîmes.
In the first round, the list led by Vincent Bouget would come out on top with 30% of voting intentions. It would be followed by the RN and UDR list led by Julien Sanchez (26%), then by the municipal majority list led by Franck Proust (22%). Further back, the divers droite list led by Julien Plantier would garner 13%, while the LFI list led by Pascal Dupretz would close the gap with 9%.
In terms of certainty of choice, 72% of voters said they were sure of their vote, while 27% could still change their mind. This certainty would appear to be particularly high among voters on the list led by Julien Sanchez (84%), and lower among voters on the list led by Franck Proust (56%).
In the event of a four-way tie in the second round, the list led by Vincent Bouget would come out on top with 37% of voting intentions. It would overtake the RN and UDR list led by Julien Sanchez (27%), as well as the municipal majority list led by Franck Proust (22%). Finally, the Divers droite list led by Julien Plantier would receive 14% of the vote.
In the event of a three-way tie in the second round, the list led by Vincent Bouget would come out on top with 41% of voting intentions. It would overtake the municipal majority list led by Franck Proust (31%), while the RN and UDR list led by Julien Sanchez would garner 28%.
