Ifop, in partnership with La Provence and Sud Radio, conducted a survey on the electoral climate in Avignon in the run-up to the municipal elections.
The list led by Anne-Sophie Rigault, supported by the Rassemblement National, would come out on top with 22% of voting intentions, followed very closely by Olivier Galzi’s diverse right-wing list, supported by Horizons and the UDI, which would garner 21% of votes cast. The left-wing union list, bringing together the PS, Génération Écologie, Les Écologistes, the Collectif humain, Libres et Égaux and the Parti animaliste, led by David Fournier, would obtain 18% of voting intentions. The La France insoumise list led by Mathilde Louvain would garner 14%, ahead of Stéphane Fiori’s divers droite list (10%). Next on the list would be Joël Peyre’s divers gauche list (5%), Paul-Roger Gontard’s (4.5%) and the Place publique list led by Benoît Belvalette (2%).
