Initially perceived as restrictive, the wearing of seatbelts is now massively accepted, systematically respected and deeply internalized, to the point of being experienced as a protective reflex rather than a simple road safety instruction. Today, it is no longer the product of a controversial political decision, but a timeless, self-evident fact of life.
