With less than ten days to go before the first round of municipal elections, Ifop conducted a survey for La Voix du Nord and Nord Éclair on the electoral climate in Roubaix.

In the first round, the France Insoumise list led by David Guiraud would come out well ahead with 44% of voting intentions. It would be well ahead of the Socialist Party, Ecologists and Communist Party list led by Karim Amrouni (23%), and the list led by Alexandre Garcin, supported by Renaissance, Modem and UDI (18%). The Rassemblement National list led by Céline Sayah achieved 12% of voting intentions. One in five voters (21%) said they could still change their mind, compared with 79% who were certain of their vote. This certainty appears particularly high among voters on David Guiraud’s list (85%), while it is lower among those on the list led by Karim Amrouni (67%).

In the event of a second round in a quadrangular configuration, the list led by David Guiraud would reach 45% of voting intentions, thus retaining first place. As in the first round, it would be followed by the list led by Karim Amrouni (27%), then that of the municipal majority led by Alexandre Garcin (17%), while the Rassemblement National list would achieve 11% of the vote.

If the non-LFI left and the central bloc were to unite behind a joint list, this would reach 40% if led by Alexandre Garcin, and 41% if led by Karim Amrouni. In both cases, the list led by David Guiraud would retain first place.
