A few days before the first round of municipal elections, Ifop for Territoires en Perspectives conducted a survey on the electoral climate in Limoges.

In the first round, two lists would be neck and neck in the lead: the Union de la droite et du center list led by Guillaume Guérin (23%) and the LFI list led by Damien Maudet (23%). They would be closely followed by the list led by Thierry Miguel, which would garner 20% of the vote. Next on the list would be the various right-wing list led by outgoing mayor Emile Roger Lombertie (15%) and the RN list led by Albin Freychet (12%), both of which are capable of standing in the second round. Further back, the lists led by Vincent Léonie, Marie de Ferluc and Elisabeth Faucon would respectively garner 3.5%, 2.5% and 1% of the vote.
