With less than ten days to go before the first round of municipal elections, Ifop-Fiducial for La Dépêche du Midi and Sud Radio conducted a survey on the electoral climate in Agen.

In the first round, the municipal majority list led by Jean Dionis du Séjour would come out on top with 37% of voting intentions. It would narrowly beat the left-wing union list led by Laurent Bruneau (35%). The list led by Sébastien Delbosq, supported by the Rassemblement National, the UDR and the RPR, would obtain 26% of voting intentions. Finally, the list led by Éric Lafond and supported by the Workers’ Party would garner 2% of voting intentions.

In terms of certainty of choice, 74% of voters said they were sure of their vote, while 26% could still change their mind. This certainty would appear to be particularly high among voters on the list led by Laurent Bruneau (80%), and lower among voters on the list led by Sébastien Delbosq (69%).

In the event of a triangular second round, the municipal majority list led by Jean Dionis du Séjour would come out on top with 39% of voting intentions. It would overtake the left-wing union list led by Laurent Bruneau (35%), while the list led by Sébastien Delbosq would garner 26% of voting intentions.

In the event of a duel second round without the RN-UDR list, the municipal majority list led by Jean Dionis du Séjour would come out on top with 58% of voting intentions, ahead of the united left-wing list led by Laurent Bruneau (42%).

In the event of a duel second round without the left-wing union list, the municipal majority list led by Jean Dionis du Séjour would come out well ahead with 65% of voting intentions, ahead of the list led by Sébastien Delbosq (35%).
