During the evening of October 31st and November 1st, two news items occurred in Poitiers and Saint-Péray, while at the same time, several cultural phenomena were being expressed on the occasion of All Saints’ Day and the end of the American election campaign. The telescoping of these different events served to reveal, in the photographic sense of the term, the existence of a hydroponic France. In agronomy, hydroponics is the practice of growing fruit or vegetables outside the field, in greenhouses, on an inert substrate (potting soil, clay balls, rockwool, coconut fibers, etc.) through which nutrient-enriched liquid solutions flow.
