On the occasion of the second edition of the Grand Prix Stratégies de la Beauté, the Ifop Group has unveiled the results of “Beauty Perspectives 2026,” a study conducted among 180 beauty professionals toanalyze the major shifts that are reshaping the beauty industry.
In a market undergoing profound transformation, professionals remain highly optimistic: 85% say they are confident about the sector’s future, while nearly one in two believes the industry is experiencing a period of rapid growth.
The study highlights several major trends.Indiaand Southeast Asia are emerging as the main drivers of international growth, while consumer expectations are shifting toward a more holistic, personalized approach to beauty that focuses on visible results. Innovations in longevity, hybrid products, and Beauty Tech are emerging as the most promising growth drivers.
Artificial intelligence is also emerging as a key driver. Industry professionals anticipate that AI will have a major impact on beauty diagnostics, personalized experiences, consumer insights analysis, and product innovation, gradually making technology the foundation of tomorrow’s customer experience.
Finally, activation strategies continue to evolve. While TikTok and Instagram remain essential, affinity communities, micro-influencers, and collaborations with experts are gaining in importance. In the luxury sector, sensory excellence, immersive experiences, and the power of storytelling remain the key differentiators.
