Collection methodology
The survey was conducted among a sample of 630 executives of very small businesses employing between 1 and 9 employees, broken down geographically as follows:
– 104 companies in the Île-de-France region
– 145 companies in the Northeast region
– 131 companies in the Northwest region
– 112 companies in the Southwest region
– 138 companies in the Southeast region
The representativeness of the sample was ensured using the quota method, with quotas first determined and then adjusted based on the criteria of company size, industry sector, and region where the company is located.
The interviews were conducted by telephone from April 14 to April 30, 2026.
